Pause Terms and Conditions

  • A minimum of 7 days notice is required to pause your membership. If pause requests are submitted early, they will only be applied 7 days from the request.

  • Under no circumstance will we backdate pauses if the pause request form is received late.

  • The minimum suspension period is 1 week

  • Suspension can only be requested in 1 week/7 day blocks.

  • All suspensions will incur a $5 weekly maintenance fee applied on the first day of your membership is paused and every 7 days until your return.

  • Accounts can only be paused for a maximum of 6 weeks per year.

Kids/Teens Holds/Pause requests

  • Kids and teen membership suspensions follow the same guidelines as normal account suspensions with the exception that during school holidays, membership holds will not incur a weekly fee.

Pre and Post-Partum Membership Holds

  • For the 4 weeks leading up to the estimated due date, and 12 weeks thereafter, there is no weekly maintenance fee. Outside of this, the above membership pause guidelines apply.

Medical pauses

  • For an acute injury, we allow immediate membership suspensions at no charge for up to 12 weeks

  • Standard cold/flu or COVID-19 - With the supply of a medical certificate, we will pause your account from the time you submit the form for up to 2 weeks at no charge

  • Life-threatening illness - With the supply of a medical certificate, we will immediately pause or cancel your membership as requested.

  • If any of these terms aren't met, the normal pause criteria apply
