About Coach

Growing up I tried my hand at every sport. I ended up doing soccer and horse riding for most of my school life. As the story goes, when I left school I got lazy and stopped team sports. I had a few gym memberships over the years but this was unfamiliar territory for me and I had no idea what to do in a gym. I felt uncomfortable and ended up not going.

I found functional fitness classes which was a great starting point for me. Its also where I met one of my best friends, Amy! We got bored of these classes and moved the CrossFit together and I can say I have never been bored since! I was hooked after my very first trial class back in September 2019 and haven't looked back.

Turning Point

I have always struggled with my body image. My body wants to be stocky and muscular which wasn't "in fashion" when I was growing up. Instead, young girls lived by the quote "nothing tastes as good as being skinny feels". It has taken me a long time to become comfortable with my natural build.

Since starting CrossFit I have been more concerned with what my body can do, rather than what it looks like. And what it can do is amazing things! It can lift heavy weight, do a lot of gymnastics movements I never imagined I would be capable of, run/row/bike/ski for sprints or for marathons and so much more! I am so happy the world (and I) have reached this place, to celebrate everyone being the happiest and most confident version of themselves.

Motivation & Passion

I love to celebrate people. I especially love when someone does something they didn't think they could do. Whatever your goal is, I want to help you achieve it.
